Temperature Calibration

Cold food must be kept at 8°C or below. This is a legal requirement throughout the European Union.

For quality assurance purposes your refrigerated vehicles must be calibrated at least once per year.

At Geo Holistic Co. Ltd. we have a duty of care and a professional obligation to our customers to ensure their products are stored and distributed in the right manner, at the right temperature.

What do we do?

In our custom preventative maintenance plans we include temperature calibration as part of that service.

We also provide temperature calibration certificates for each calibration.

We calibrate each unloaded vehicle/trailer to 0°C.

Additionally, any thermometer used in the calibration process is calibrated and fit for the purpose. We do not use infra-red surface thermometers, we use calibrated air temperature thermometers.

Temperature Calibrating Process

1. Pull down unit temperature
2. Confirm air temperature
3. Calibrate your thermostat/thermometer
4. If required, check/calibrate temperature datalogger
5. Produce & supply temperature calibration certificate
